Growing to love Anne Hathaway’s elegant style over the years, you know we were ecstatic to finally see her most important dress yet – her wedding dress! The lovely Anne Hathaway got married over the weekend in a bespoke tulle ball gown by Valentino, renowned designer and a close friend of the bride. We can’t wait for the official photos, but we were able to catch a sneak peak of the gorgeous, shoulder-wrapped gown in ivory. Accented with a diamond pattern in center and paired with a vintage headpiece and cathedral length veil, she looked nothing less than stunning.
You can snag Anne’s soft tulle look at a fraction of the price with this beautiful gown from Enzoani Blue. This gorgeous tulle a-line gown has a hint of lace at the hem, giving that same pop that we saw on the Valentino! Bonus- the stunning beaded belt accentuates and defines your waist.
Also check out this similar dress by Casablanca- with a slightly more fitted shape and dazzling beaded belt.
And for a less traditional shape, check out this tulle fit-and-flare gown from designer Maggie Sottero. This photo shows the gown in the champagne tulle with black embroidery; however the dress can be all ivory or all white if you’re not a fan of the black contrast.
Anne, who stands regally at 5’8″, wore flats to marry her long-term beau. For tall brides who don’t want to tower over their new hubby, we have some gorgeous flats by Benjamin Adams!
Flats, often too casual for dress up, are amped up 10 notches with beautiful Swarovski crystals! No one will accuse you of dressing down, though you’ll be comfortable as ever! Who doesn’t want some bling for your feet!
Don’t forget about the veil! A cathedral veil can achieve the timeless regal look that Anne captured for her big day. With everything from a lace edge to beading, as well as single and double-layer veils, we’re a one-stop veil shop!
Kings of Leon bassist Jared Followill married model Martha Patterson over the weekend. The bride wore a romantic Monique Lhuillier gown with a feathered skirt.
For a similar look, check out this gown from Maggie Sottero. The tulle on this dress gives that similar feathery look to the skirt.
Or if you want the real deal, check out these gowns with feather embellishments! Here’s one beauty from Allure Bridals:
Bubbly “So You Think You Can Dance” host Cat Deely also got married this weekend, but we haven’t seen any photos yet! Once we get an idea of her gown, we’ll be sure to give you all the scoop! A big congrats to all the happy couples!
